Stay Away from the Monsters Soccer Drill (Dribbling, U4, U5, U6, Age 3, 4, 5, 6)
For soccer players age 3, 4, 5 and 6 who play U4, U5 or U6 soccer, the most important thing is FUN. If practice isn’t fun, your players won’t want to come and they will start to think that “soccer isn’t fun”. If soccer practice is fun your players will want to come to practice and they will keep playing soccer. Obviously, it is a lot better for everyone if soccer practice is fun. However, you also want to teach your players the basic soccer skills, the most important of which is to get used to using their feet to move the ball by dribbling.
This soccer drill is a simple and fun way to teach dribbling to U4, U5, U6, age 3, 4, 5 and 6 soccer players. The game is the teacher, so they learn by playing the game, Every player has a ball, so it is 100% “onball”. Everyone, including parents, has fun. There are no lines and it is very easy to set up. This is a fun way to get kids to become comfortable dribbling a soccer ball.
